Oceans cover over 70% of the Earth’s surface and are vital for oxygen production, climate regulation, food, medicine, and biodiversity. However, this planetary treasure is under threat due to marine pollution (especially plastic and chemicals) and overfishing.
(In the 8th competition held in Morocco, it was deemed worthy of the "Special Prize" by placing 4th among more than 1,200 works by more than 400 artists from 72 countries.)
