a drawing i made inspired by the ovid stories i had to translate from latin into german at school. it is narzissus. short plot: narzissus is a beautiful guy and many people (both male and female) fall in love with him. but he turns them all away for he can not find anybody he could love. one day he reaches a pond and sees his reflection. he falls in love with his reflection, trying to catch this beautiful guy he sees, not knowing it's just himself. as soon as he recognizes he fell in love with himself, he refuses to sleep, eat or drink and dies. he transformes into a flower, the narciss we know today.
