Kurt Cobain

So I was in Paris in late August working at a music festival and we had a ton of unused Converse bags. There were designed to get special stamps on the big white part of the bag, but I jut drew on it.

I still had one with me yesterday, and found a nice picture of Kurt Cobain, so I took my washable felt pens and drew a pretty ephemeral (I guess) Cobain.

Doodles made during my trip to Los Angeles back in November 2011; the first one is made after a photograph of Willem Dafoe. All the other doodles are made after real people I saw in airports/the streets.

The face is a bit strange because it was a complete profile at first, but something was wrong, so I tried to fix it.

I've just read Batman: The Killing Joke, and while browsing the internet for some random stuff, I saw an incredible Catwoman fanart:

I just wanted to draw a famous woman from the batman series, and chose -- oh surprise -- Poison Ivy.

I got really lazy in the end, so the ivy kinda sucks...

As usual, my beloved bic pen, some felt-tip pens and highlighters.

It was supposed to be a black and white drawing with slight touches of colours, but I got carried away.

I did not intend to draw a corpse, but the skin color made me think of one, and I liked the idea to add some lyrics from Morcheeba to stress the irony of the one and true love myth

Being a huge fan of Miyazaki's work, and especially Laputa and Mononoke, I had to make a drawing about his movies.
I did this one, and spent quite a lot of time on it.
It's a bit old now, so there are many flaws, but I really worked on the composition, and, if it's far from being perfect, I still love it.
