Member		I'm not a fan of macho 'Beat'em-ups' (honestly) but I'm afraid Bourne does the action scenes much better than Liam and both Mel Gibson (Ransom) and Arnie (Commando) had a better American accent tham Liam too! I would've enjoyed the movie more if I hadn't already seen the plot (Ransom/Commando) and if Liam's character wasn't so damned needy and annoying. I was almost glad for his daughter when she finally got 'taken'... at least she was free to experience the world LOL. I take your point about her virginity; I note her friend was allowed to die, being such a promiscuous whore just didn't pay off for her I guess! Guest		I'm not much of an action movie fan generally, but I really liked Taken. It knew what it was, ran with it, and lots of bad guys died in lots of really satisfying ways. The one thing that bothered me, though, was the film's insistence on reminding us over and over and over that Kimmy was, and remained, a virgin. Member		A rather dull and unimaginative poster... to match a rather dull and unimaginative movie. Mel Gibson's earlier effort (Ransom)was far better, tho this was at least marginally more believable than Arnie's similar offering (Commando)! spot_on_george, am 23.
